Justice in our Communities

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to speak at my Diocese’s Catholic Information Center on human trafficking. I was honored when the CIC first asked me to speak on the topic, and was even more honored after meeting some of the amazing individuals who attended. Their spirit for justice and compassion was contagious, and it was a true spiritual experience to see these individuals being moved to action.

As part of the great services the CIC offers, my class was recorded, and is available for viewing below. This course serves as a good introduction to trafficking both globally and domestically. It’s a bit lengthy – the class is 1.5 hours, but it’s worth it.

Starting in November I’ll be continuing the series with a class on child sexual exploitation, and then another class on organ trafficking & corporate responsibility in the winter.
