A vocation story.

A very special post for today’s inspiration – this story comes from a dear college friend of mine, and someone I personally look up to. Emily, now known as Sister Faith Marie, is a true example of what it means to follow God’s will. She was always strong in her faith, and I had the privilege of spending some of the best times with her out on the Sister’s farm here in Michigan – raking leaves, picking apples, making some of the best cinnamon rolls on earth, and my favorite, teaching teens about human sexuality.

Now, Sister Faith Marie is living at the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist mother-house in Connecticut and continues to shine and grow everyday. She’s an inspiration to all.

Last week, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops published a bit of her story on their blog (read it all here). Regardless of your religion or whether you’re even spiritual or not…her story to trust so deeply in her call is so beautiful, and I encourage you to take a read. She’s certainly right where she’s supposed to be, and I have no doubt she will change the world.

Love to you Em.
